Daniel Farke green lights Josuha Guilavogui transfer at Leeds United
Leeds United boss Daniel Farke has given his green light for a free transfer with Josuha Guilavogui now preferred, according to TEAMtalk.
The Whites are looking to bolster their midfield options, and the France international is seen as the probable option for the club, with Francis Coquelin also on their radar.
It is reported that the German manager prefers bringing in the 34-year-old, who was in the stands to watch the 2-0 win over Sheffield United at Elland Road.
Josuha Guilavogui to sign for Leeds United?
Guilavogui is a short-term option that Leeds are looking at with Ethan Ampadu and Ilia Gruev out for months with their injuries.
The Frenchman’s arrival could add much-needed strength in depth to the Whites’ midfield, which consists of Joe Rothwell and Ao Tanaka at the moment.
While Rothwell showed that Farke can rely on him during the win over the Blades, he and Tanaka are the only two senior options the manager has at his disposal in the middle of the park.

Therefore, the Elland Road faithful will want to see the club make a new signing in the coming weeks, given the unpredictable nature of injuries.
Guilavogui is no slouch, having been handed seven caps for France, but it remains to be seen how fit the defensive midfielder will be, considering his last appearance came back in March for Mainz.
Farke previously hinted at a possible deadline for the club to sign a free agent, and it will be interesting to see whether the 34-year-old will finally be the one to make his way to West Yorkshire.
