Daniel Farke ‘furiously’ gestured at Jayden Bogle in Leeds United win v Hull City
Daniel Farke “furiously” gestured towards Jayden Bogle after Leeds United failed to get the ball out wide in their win v Hull City, according to Graham Smyth.
The Yorkshire Evening Post journalist reported this via the newspaper’s website (1 September) and stated that Farke gestured Bogle in order to pull him wider.
Smyth also detailed that when the former Sheffield United man received the ball in a wide position, Farke “clapped in satisfaction.”
“Farke frustrated with Leeds’ inability to find the switch in play to the right-hand side, furiously gesturing for Bogle to pull wider,” Smyth wrote.
“When, a few minutes later, the ball finally came to Bogle the manager clapped in satisfaction.”
Jayden Bogle needs to step up his form if he wants to be a first-team regular for Leeds United
Despite only recently arriving at Elland Road after a transfer from fellow Yorkshire side Sheffield United, Bogle has received some criticism from fans and pundits alike.
One of the key areas that Leeds needed to reinforce during the transfer window was that of other full-backs.
Both Stuart Dallas and Luke Ayling exited the club at the end of last season alongside starlet Archie Gray.
Although the exits of the latter of the three were expected, Gray’s exit came as something of a shock to both Leeds and their fans.

Isaac Schmidt is another player who can be used as a full-back that Farke managed to add to his ranks on deadline day.
Should Bogle’s poor run of form continue, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him replaced by Schmidt as the season goes on.
Especially if their form continues, the right-back could find himself being replaced in his manager’s search for the perfect line-up to help improve the Whites’ chances of promotion.
In other Leeds news, Stuart Dallas has sent a message to Willy Gnonto after his contract news.
