Daniel Farke furious in unseen Leeds United moment as scuffle ensues
Leeds United manager Daniel Farke was left “furious” at a moment involving Sam Byram during the win over Stoke City, according to Leeds Live.
The online outlet reported on the incident in its unseen moments article the morning after Leeds’ 2-0 victory at the bet365 Stadium on Thursday (26 December).
Byram, who was arguably the visitors’ weakest performer on the day, was sandwiched by two Stoke players during the first half.
Farke was said to be “furious” as he protested angrily to the fourth official, leading to the on-field scuffle that the Sky cameras picked up on.
Leeds United ease to victory over Stoke City
Joel Piroe’s double proved the difference against Stoke in what was as routine a victory as possible for the Whites.
The Dutchman showed a prolific edge to his game by netting either side of half-time, even if not always at his best off the ball.
Stoke had one or two moments on top but never truly troubled their opponents, who are now top of the table with one game of 2024 remaining.
Byram ultimately helped his side to a clean sheet and Farke’s men are looking very strong approaching the midway point of the campaign.

It is now a case of keeping this momentum going, with a trip to Derby County up next on Sunday (29 December) before a home match with Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday (1 January).
Six points from six will be the target from those, and then it is simply a case of staying at the summit until the campaign ends.
