Daniel Farke drops hint about exciting new Leeds contract announcement

Daniel Farke‘s side have adapted well to the pace of the top-flight, with the likes of Gabriel Gudmundsson, Anton Stach and Sean Longstaff stepping up for Leeds.

Harry Gray set for new contract at Leeds
Harry Gray is one of Leeds’ most promising youngsters, and he looks set to extend his stay at Elland Road.
In his pre-match press conference ahead of the Burnley clash, Farke hinted that the 17-year-old is set to sign a new deal in an exciting update for supporters.
Speaking on 16 October, he said: “Normally we just speak about business when it’s done.
“That’s one of my principles. Harry is still out of team training at the moment with his hip, I’m expecting him back next week.
“And of course behind the scenes we are trying to build our squad for the future and with players that attract us, Harry is a very good player and I expect very positive news in the future. It makes sense when you announce a contract when he is fit and available.”
Leeds keeping Gray is a huge sign of intent
The young attacker has been linked with a move away from LS11, with Tottenham, who bought his brother, Archie Gray, from the Whites, one of the clubs sniffing around.
If the Peacocks can keep him around, and avoid the interest from the likes of Spurs and Manchester City, it will be a huge signal of their intent to remain as an elite level club.

Farke has been reluctant to throw Gray into the deep end, only handing him a place on the bench for the league clash with Wolves, where he did not come on.
However, he is highly rated at Thorp Arch, and it seems like only a matter of time before his breakthrough into the senior side.
He has scored four goals in four matches in the Premier League 2, which is an encouraging sign, as is him signing a new deal, because it means the Whites are going in the right direction.
