Farke shares Dan James injury update after horror challenge in QPR v Leeds
Leeds United came back from two behind to draw 2-2 with QPR at Loftus Road on Saturday.
Marti Cifuentes’ men held a 2-1 half-time lead thanks to goals from Koki Saito and Steve Cook, but a Morgan Fox own goal allowed Leeds a way back into the game just five minutes before the break.
Jayden Bogle got the equaliser early in the second half, but the Whites were unable to grab a winner, as Saito was sent off in added time for a shocking challenge on Dan James.
Daniel Farke’s side sit top of the Championship on 80 points with just eight games remaining, and will fancy their chances of booking their spot in next season’s Premier League.

In second-half additional time, James was subject to a badly mistimed challenge from Saito, which resulted in the Japan youth international being handed a red card.
But despite being on the receiving end of Saito’s poor tackle, James should be available for Leeds’ clash with Swansea after the international break, which Farke confirmed.
Leeds must get back to winning ways against Swansea
Farke will be far from pleased that Saturday’s trip to QPR marked the third time in just four games that the Whites have dropped points after they were held to a 1-1 draw by West Brom on 1 March before suffering a 1-0 defeat at Portsmouth last Sunday.
The West Yorkshire giants managed a 2-0 win over Millwall on Wednesday, and were vying to make it two wins in two when they travelled to QPR.
However, Leeds endured a woeful start and found themselves 2-0 down after just half an hour, and had to produce a comeback effort to earn a point.
The Whites will still be top of the Championship table come the end of the weekend, even if Sheffield United defeat Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday thanks to their superior goal difference.
But amid strong competition from both Sheffield United and Burnley for automatic promotion, Farke’s men have to defeat Swansea next time out on 29 March.
