Daniel Farke amazes after what happens in ‘brilliant’ Leeds win vs Nottingham Forest
Michael Dawson has hailed Daniel Farke for getting his tactics right as Leeds United beat Nottingham Forest 3-1 in the Premier League on Friday.
Sean Dyche’s team travelled to Elland Road on 6 February, with the Whites taking a three-goal lead before Lorenzo Lucca’s consolation goal towards the end of the game.
Jayden Bogle and Gabriel Gudmundsson were exceptional, with the former scoring the opener for the West Yorkshire outfit before Boah Okafor and Dominic Calvert-Lewin found the back of the net.
The Peacocks have earned three valuable points against the Tricky Trees, one of their relegation rivals, securing their advantage in the Premier League, with their two wing-backs pivotal as seen by their Sofascore ratings.

Leeds United respond well vs Nottingham Forest after Arsenal loss
Dawson was amazed to see the response from Leeds against Forest after a heavy defeat against Arsenal.
The 4-0 loss at Elland Road could’ve undoubtedly been damaging for the Whites, but they’ve gotten back to winning ways.
All over the pitch, the West Yorkshire outfit looked comfortable and dominated the Tricky Trees for most of the game.
Speaking on Sky Sports News on 7 February, Dawson said, “They were exceptional last night from minute one. What a response it was last night against a team that were six points above the relegation zone. Thoroughly deserved it. Both wing-backs in Gudmundsson and Bogle, exceptional, gets his goal. Okafor coming into the team for the injured Stach.”
The former defender added, “I just thought they were brilliant all over the pitch. They were so solid. Justin playing on the right of a three. He would up in the box, got the assist for the second. I think all over the pitch, Farke got it right, and Forest couldn’t deal with it.”
Farke has taken a big step toward Premier League survival, and consistency will be key for the Peacocks to avoid relegation.
Despite not being backed in the winter transfer window, the German manager isn’t letting that disappointment affect the team.
Daniel Farke has new hero at Elland Road
Ilia Gruev controlled the tempo of the game against Forest, catching the eyes of many with his two assists.
The Bulgarian midfielder has come into his own in recent weeks, as seen by his Sofascore record, after struggling at the start of the season.

Farke has been able to bring out the best from most of his players, as evidenced by Calvert-Lewin’s red-hot goalscoring streak in the last few months.
Gruev may have made himself undroppable after his display at Elland Road, and exciting times are clearly ahead for fans in LS11.
