Daniel Farke agrees terms to be next Leeds United manager as he visits Thorp Arch
Leeds United have agreed terms with Daniel Farke to be their new manager, according to the Daily Mail.
The newspaper reported on Thursday (29 June) that Farke has already been given a tour of Leeds’ facilities at Thorp Arch ahead of becoming the first permanent manager of the 49ers Enterprises’ ownership.
It is understood that Leeds were going to wait until the 49ers’ takeover was made official by the EFL before making a proper move to hire a new manager.

The Daily Mail claims that the takeover deal is still on course to be completed within days but Leeds have moved forward their appointment process for Sam Allardyce’s replacement in the Elland Road hot seat.
What a move
Leeds fans should be thrilled with this.
Farke won promotion twice with Norwich and did a decent job in the Premier League too, managing to keep his job despite one of the Canaries’ relegations.
Leeds will be aiming to bounce back to the Premier League at the first time of asking and getting on board a manager who’s done that before is a very good move.

Farke’s dealings in the transfer market were very good at Carrow Road and that will hopefully be something Angus Kinnear and Nick Hammond will see at Elland Road too.
Leeds’ squad is going to go through a massive change this summer and if Farke’s helping on the transfer front, there’s more of a chance of the club’s recruitment being a success.
It’s strange Leeds wanted to wait to hire Farke officially until the transfer was done because as fans of the club know every well, the EFL aren’t the most reliable of organisations and there was surely no guarantee they would green-light the 49ers’ takeover before the squad reports back to pre-season training next week.
It’s a good move by Leeds – but this should have been done over a week ago.
In other Leeds United news, the club have been handed a boost to sign a Manchester United player this summer with Erik ten Hag likely to sanction his exit.
