Dan James slammed by Robert Green during Leeds United v Wolves
Robert Green slammed Leeds United attacker Daniel James for a ‘stupid’ foul on Raul Jimenez on Saturday at Elland Road against Wolves.
Despite dominating proceedings, Leeds found themselves trailing early in the first half and that seemed to unsettle a few of their players.
James, who seemed to have got carried away with the intensity of the Whites action, went in hard on the Wolves striker in an attempt to win back the ball.

On the Premier League world feed, the Sky Sports pundit said, “Stupid decision from James. There was no real control in this tackle. Needless challenge on Jimenez.”
Why’s he starting?
James has been one of the worst players on the pitch today and it baffles us why Marcelo Bielsa is giving him a chance.
He’s not even playing in his preferred position so it’s going to be that much more difficult for him to thrive and have an impact on proceedings.
When Raphinha moved to the centre, the Whites looked much better and threatening but something must be done with James in the second half.

If we were Bielsa, we would possibly bring off the Welshman as he just seems unable to do what he’s expected to when Leeds have the ball.
Kalvin Phillips is on the bench and he can come on to give the side that extra fluidity instead of James who’s only offering his work rate in this game.
Leeds need someone to grab the game by the scruff of its neck, along with Raphinha, and unfortunately, James is not doing that.
