Dan James recalls Elland Road moment that blew him away
Dan James has recalled the moment when he was cheered by the Leeds United crowd at Elland Road as a Swansea player.
Two weeks before that game, the Welsh international was at Elland Road preparing to sign but as well all know, that collapsed.
In that clash, James was blown away as he got a bigger cheer than Patrick Bamford who was replaced at a similar time in West Yorkshire.

Speaking to the Telegraph this morning, James shared the moment that gave him goosebumps at the time.
“I’ve never experienced in a game someone chanting an opposition player’s name,” he said.
“It was a moment where you’re almost floating above your body and thinking ‘Is this actually happening?’. I remember coming off and getting a bigger applause than when Patrick Bamford came off soon after.”

More to come.
If that left James scratching his eyes, he has something coming should he step onto the pitch against Liverpool on Sunday.
Elland Road was packed during our first Premier League game with full capacity in over 17 years against Everton, and the atmosphere was unforgettable.
Now, against one of the Premier League’s best, it should be even bigger and that will leave him knowing that he made the right decision.
Marcelo Bielsa may hold him back on the bench, and this time around, the applause will come when he enters the action rather than leaving.
We can’t wait to be at Elland Road this weekend, it should be one to remember if the three points are delivered.
