Dan James footage emerges at Thorp Arch after Leeds United injury news
Leeds United may have been given a huge injury boost heading into the final games of the Championship season.
Daniel Farke’s side are on the verge of securing promotion to the Premier League in the coming weeks, with the Whites currently five points clear of Sheffield United in third.
With the Blades set to face Burnley on Easter Monday, Leeds can secure promotion with as few as two victories, depending on other results.
Leeds have been inconsistent in recent months, but they have now been handed a massive boost after new footage of Dan James from Thorp Arch.

James back in Leeds training
James missed Leeds’ victory over Preston after sustaining an injury, and losing him for a longer period would have been devastating.
Farke admitted he should be back for Easter Monday, with a late call over the game at Oxford on Friday.
However, footage has now emerged of James returning to full training with the rest of the squad, with it now possible that he is ready to feature in the next game against Oxford United.
Leeds United | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
James | 35 | 12 | 9 |
Inside Training footage released by Leeds has shown the 27-year-old training with his teammates, and any fears over his injury being more long-term have now been alleviated.
With Leeds aiming to win to potentially secure promotion, having James back in the squad will give the rest of his side a boost and will also give Farke more options to pick from.
James can help Leeds achieve promotion
James has been a key figure this season, with 12 goals and nine assists in 35 Championship games, and he could be back at the perfect time.
Willy Gnonto and Manor Solomon started in the win against Preston, with James ahead of the Italian in the previous game before that.
Being able to rotate between the three has helped Leeds become the Championship’s top scorers by some distance, and it remains to be seen whether Farke will stick with Solomon and Gnonto or drop one for the Welshman.
If James does start, he can make himself a hero by firing Leeds to what could be a monumental victory against Oxford United away from home.
