Dan James arrives for second part of Leeds medical at Thorp Arch

Daniel James has arrived at Thorp Arch to finalise the second part of his medical before joining Leeds United.

Keith Downie has shared the latest on Sky Sports, insisting that the Whites don’t want to jump the gun on the mega-deal.

Leeds finally look set to get their man for £25million, two years after missing out on his signature from Swansea.

Speaking on Sky Sports this afternoon, Downie shared the latest as the move looks set to be concluded imminently.

“Leeds have finally got their man,” he said.

“Leeds will want to make sure they don’t jump a little early, given what happened two and a half years ago. The second part of that medical underway here at the club’s training ground.

“Leeds hoping to finalise that one later on this afternoon. Leeds will want to push this one through very quickly.”

Closing in.

Once this final part of the medical is done, the formalities are all but completed for James.

The Welshman will then need to shoot his media obligations before jetting out of the United Kingdom to join up with his country.

Leeds fans will get the chance to see their new signing in action immediately this week, with Wales taking on Finland.

While there will be that urge to not jump the gun and get excited, everyone will want the deal completed as soon as possible, allowing them to breath a big sigh of relief.
