Crysencio Summerville tells Leeds United he wants exit, Feyenoord convinced to make move

Crysencio Summerville has informed Leeds United of his desire to leave the club during the summer transfer window, according to Dutch media outlet, 1908.

The Telegraph reported on 20 June that the 21-year-old could be available for £12million and that Everton are in hot pursuit.

1908 now claim on 20 June that the Dutchman is keen to leave Elland Road and that Feyenoord are “convinced” over sealing a deal for the winger.

However, despite their interest in the “exceptional” Leeds ace, Feyenoord’s priority is to land a left-sided player.

Gathering momentum

Talk surrounding Summerville’s exit from Elland Road has gathered momentum in recent days. The Dutchman is clearly pushing for a route out of West Yorkshire after a breakthrough season.

It would be a shame if he departed. Alongside Willy Gnonto, he could have formed part of a fairly potent attack for the Whites moving forward.

Furthermore, he’s at an age where he can still be an asset for Leeds moving forward. The 49ers will be eying a clearout of sorts, but standing firm when it comes to the likes of Summerville will be vitally important.

Their priority at present has to be appointing a new manager as soon as possible. The sooner the better for everyone involved.

Transfer decisions are on hold along with talks of potential exits from Elland Road.

Daniel Farke seems the most likely candidate at present and the German seems to be a good fit. He’s achieved promotion twice before whilst playing some fairly attractive football. What’s not to like?
