Crysencio Summerville sent Pascal Struijk a message after the captain scored for Leeds United in the 2-0 victory over Sheffield United.

The Whites welcomed Chris Wilder's team to Elland Road on 18 October in the Championship, with the Dutchman finding the back of the net to break the deadlock.

Struijk's brilliant strike from a relatively tame Joe Rothwell corner was his second goal of the season for Leeds, and Mateo Joseph sealed the victory for the Whites in added time.

After the match, the 25-year-old took to Instagram to celebrate the victory and former teammate Summerville commented with just one word: "Launch."

Summerville, now at West Ham after his multi-million-pound move away from Elland Road this summer, also has a Dutch connection with Struijk.

Sheffield United had been unbeaten in the Championship before the game against Leeds, and Daniel Farke set up the team perfectly to break down Wilder's team.

The German manager did precisely that, and despite the thin squad at his disposal due to the injury issues, the Elland Road side dominated the fixture.

Struijk has been one of the standout players at the club over the last few years, and even though others around him have left, the defender has embraced the challenge.

The 25-year-old has played 90 minutes in all of the Championship fixtures in the current campaign, with the team keeping six clean sheets.

He was at the heart of the huge win, and long may that continue.
