Crysencio Summerville reacts as Leeds United promoted to Premier League

Leeds United are in full celebratory mode following their promotion to the Premier League, including former players.

Daniel Farke’s men secured their return to the top flight of English football after hammering Stoke City 6-0 on Easter Monday, while Burnley went on to defeat Sheffield United.

The two results guaranteed Leeds automatic promotion regardless of what happens in the final two games of the season, taking the pressure off while rewarding their hard work.

Leeds might be set to lose a handful of players after this season due to contracts running out and others being cashed in on, but fans are currently just focusing on the positives.

The winger took to Instagram to share a picture that confirmed Leeds’ promotion, simply writing: “MOT.”

Summerville will now get the chance to play against his former side next season when West Ham United meet Leeds, in what is sure to be a significant moment for him.

Leeds United are not done yet

The Whites are buzzing at the moment, with fans celebrating outside Elland Road late into Monday evening, but the work isn’t done yet.

Farke’s men have two games remaining this season, and they will be aiming to win both of them to try and ensure that they finish top of the league when all is said and done.

Leeds captain Ethan Ampadu has made it clear that his focus right now is on winning the title and not settling for promotion alone.

Bristol City are next up at Elland Road on 28 April, with the season finishing at Plymouth days later.
