‘Could be the transfer of the summer’ – Sky presenter claims Leeds could be set for major coup

Sky Sports presenter Mark McAdam has said that Bayern Munich midfielder Michael Cuisance could be the “transfer of the summer” for Leeds United.

That’s a big claim in a window when a lot of major deals have gone through, including Thiago to Liverpool.

McAdam said that Cuisance is a “beautiful player who could develop into a midfield magician under Bielsa.”

McAdam made the claim on his personal Twitter account ahead of the transfer being confirmed by Leeds.

Sky Sports reporter Fabrizio Romano had said that another Premier League side had been snubbed by Cuisance in favour of Leeds.

Yorkshire Evening Post journalist Graham Smyth said that could have been Newcastle.

It just shows how far Leeds have come under Andrea Radrizzani.

StatsPerform analyst Sacha Pisani said he thinks Cuisance will “fit in nicely within Bielsa’s Leeds” and added a clip of a thunder-strike from the midfielder.

If Cuisance can start scoring goals like this at Leeds then he’s going to be a fan favourite very quickly.

We think he’s coming in to fill the Pablo Hernandez-shaped hole and it’s an exciting deal.

Athletic journalist Phil Hay said that Leeds see the transfer as a “major coup” and Cuisance could soon be making his mark in the Premier League.

If reports are correct, then Cuisance could be a Leeds United player ahead of the big clash against Man City on Saturday.
