Club Brugge look to use Leeds United to secure mega-deal for Charles De Ketelaere

Belgium outfit Club Brugge are looking to get the maximum deal out of Charles De Ketelaere, and they’re using Leeds United to do so, as per Gazzetta dello Sport.

The famous pink newspaper wrote in their printed edition on 15 July (page 3) that the future of De Ketelaere is still hanging in the balance.

AC Milan are set to hold talks after Sunday, that is within in next 72 hours, and there they would solve the ‘decisive’ phase of the deal.

As it stands, Milan are keen to land him, and they are willing to improve their offer but only to a certain point. The Whites have presented a better offer on the table.

Leeds have done incredibly well this summer, and they have got their rewards as a result.

Take for instance, Raphinha. The Whites didn’t buckle up under pressure and forced Barcelona to pay up the money and get the deal done.

It has taken time for the deal to go through, but Leeds didn’t panic for a moment.

We find a similar situation here.

Club Brugge know that Leeds have presented a better offer, and Milan are nowhere near to it.

The player wants to join a top European club, and that gives Milan the edge in the race.

However, money speaks. Brugge are looking to use Leeds as leverage to get the best deal out of Milan.

Victor Orta has two options here. Either in the next 72 hours, before talks with Milan are set to underway, the Whites can tempt Brugge with another package deal offer.

Or else, the Whites can simply back away from the race and pursue other options.

In other Leeds United news, the Raphinha millions could be spent on a new target who is reportedly at the top of the list to replace him.
