Club Brugge identify Rasmus Hojlund as replacement for Leeds United target Charles De Ketelaere

Club Brugge have reportedly identified Rasmus Hojlund as a replacement for Leeds United target Charles De Ketelaere.

According to De Standaard (July 26, page 20), the Belgian club are hoping to gain clarity over the situation quickly so that they can line up for a move for the 19-year-old SK Sturm Graz striker.

Milan and Leeds are the two teams keen on signing De Ketelaere with the 21-year-old fancying a move to Italy over Elland Road.

Get this done

We’re tired of this entire transfer saga and surely Brugge will too – who have already started their league campaign without the services of their main man.

They’ve known for a while that he wants Milan and have been discussing the deal with their directors as well/

However, thus far, neither of the parties have arrived at a conclusion and this thing appears to be dragging on longer than expected.

It’s time Leeds force their hand and give them an ultimatum otherwise they’ll be more than happy to walk away from the deal and move on to other targets.

The likes of Arnaud Kalimuendo and Martin Terrier have been lined up as potential alternatives and the Whites must look to seal a deal for either of the two instead.

The coming days are going to be extremely crucial as they’re likely to get an answer from Brugge and De Ketelaere one way or another.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites have submitted a fresh bid to sign their first-choice target this summer as a Champions League club has pulled out of the deal.
