Clinton Morrison blown away by ‘unbelievable’ moment in Leeds United Premier League clash v Leicester
Clinton Morrison was left stunned by Youri Tielemans’ disallowed goal for Leicester City during the Foxes’ Premier League clash against Leeds United.
The Belgium international fired Dean Smith’s side into a lead before the goal was ruled out after an offside in the build-up.
Despite the goal being chalked off, Morrison was blown away by the “unbelievable” strike from the 25-year-old midfielder.

“Could it be offside? But the strike was unbelievable,” said Morrison (Sky Sports, 20:07 pm, 25 April).
Let off
That was a huge let-off for the Whites, it was a sensational strike from the midfielder and due to Leeds’ reluctance to put players on the posts, the offside was given. It was an excellent response from Javi Gracia’s side. Jack Harrison was once again influential and produced a wonderful cross for Luis Sinisterra to head home.
VAR does deserve credit in this instance. Had the goal been given, Leeds would be rightfully fuming with the incident. It was a relatively easy spot for the linesman, so the technology deserves credit. VAR is there to pick up on clear and obvious errors and that’s exactly what it did.

Leeds have been low of luck in recent weeks and Tielemans’ goal being disallowed could finally be a piece of luck which they deserve. There promises to be plenty of twists and turns in between now and the end of the season and a bit of good fortune will certainly play its part.
