Chris Sutton wants Leeds United to lose v Bournemouth as he takes anger from fans

Chris Sutton has hit back at Leeds United fans this week after they continue to take aim at him for his Premier League predictions this season.

The BBC pundit has sarcastically said the same thing about Bournemouth fans, wishing that both clubs would lose this weekend as they meet for the first time ever in the Premier League.

Jesse Marsch will be hoping for the opposite and another win to back up that victory at Liverpool, with those passionate fans critical to that once again.

Before making his predictions in his BBC column this week, Sutton made it clear that he called out the two fan bases ahead of them meeting at Elland Road.

“Leeds and Bournemouth fans are both quite angry with my predictions and have been giving me an awful lot of stick,” he said.

“Because of that, I hope they both lose this week.”

Passion.

There are no better fans anywhere.

Leeds fans will back their team everywhere, and no matter who is talking about them, with Sutton meaning very little to every last one of them in the stands.

It is very clear that they have gotten to the pundit though, and he has finally spit his dummy out after his own views were questioned.

Backing Liverpool to win 6-1 at Anfield last week was hilarious after the full-time whistle went, but in fairness, he still isn’t as bad as Mark Lawrenson was – he would probably have backed the Reds to score 10.

Consistency is key, especially for Marsch and his job security as we look to bounce up that Premier League table before the World Cup break comes around.

Leeds are playing some great stuff with a little reward this season, and it is time for that to no longer be used as an excuse, but used to take home the three points with relative ease.

All eyes are on Elland Road tomorrow.
