Chris Sutton predicts Leeds v Tottenham as Big Sam 'Driven to Despair'
Chris Sutton has predicted the result of the clash between Leeds United and Tottenham on Sunday (28 April).
The Whites host the North London outfit at Elland Road on the final day of the Premier League season.
Leeds go into the match sitting 19th in the table, two points behind Everton in 17th, with the Toffees taking on Bournemouth.
“Leeds boss Sam Allardyce has been driven to despair by how bad his side are at the back and he’s only been in charge for three games,” said Sutton, as quoted by BBC Sport. “That’s why I can’t see Leeds winning this game – and I think they are getting relegated.
“Tottenham don’t deserve many plaudits either, though. They have played well so rarely this season that I don’t see them getting a win that would give them a chance of seventh place and European football next season.
“Sutton’s prediction: 1-1.”

Huge day
It really is one of the biggest days in the history of Leeds, with the club desperate to do all they can to avoid dropping back down to the Championship.
It took the Whites so long to make a return to the top flight in the first place, and that struggle will definitely come back next season if they cannot secure their safety on Sunday.
And it looks set to be a hugely difficult task, with Leeds not only needing to defeat Tottenham, but they are also relying on favourable results elsewhere.
They need the Cherries to do them a favour at Goodison Park, and are also relying on West Ham to help them out against Leicester.
Leeds fans will be seething that they are in this position in the first place, but all they can do now is hope and pray that things go their way on the final day of the season.
In other Leeds United news, one Whites ace may be the first “high-profile” Elland Road exit this summer, with talks underway and a bid on the cards for the player.
