Chris Sutton delivers verdict on Leeds United manager hunt after Jesse Marsch sacking
Chris Sutton believes that all is not well behind the scenes at Leeds United after they made the decision to sack Jesse Marsch.
He also threw shade at Andrea Radrizzani for tweeting that the club were close to making an appointment to replace the American.
However, the Whites have played two games with interim coaches in charge and are no closer to finding a replacement.

Sutton told BBC Monday Night Club, as quoted by The Boot Room, “It’s amazing really, what’s gone on at Leeds. The decision to sack Jesse Marsch.
“Well okay, based on two wins in 17 – something like that – but they made the decision to make the change and Marsch went with the majority of his staff, so everybody is thinking ‘wow, they must have a plan, somebody is going to come in soon’ and then Radrizzani tweeted that and suggested that somebody would be in on Wednesday morning.
“Something has gone horribly wrong. I actually think the owner has, the way they have dealt with the situation of bringing players in January, making the decision so late in the day, if Leeds go down it’s on the owners far more than Jesse Marsch. If they didn’t have faith in him, well sack him earlier then.”
Shameful
Marsch’s performances were lacklustre before the World Cup break began and it was due to a few results in November that he held on to his job.
That should’ve been a wake-up sign for the Leeds board to ready replacements even if they did not plan on sacking him immediately.
With Marcelo Bielsa, it seemed like they had Marsch announced within a few days as there was a proper plan in place which obviously, did not work out too well.

However, now the club have been linked with managers that have different playing philosophies and there does not seem to be any coherent plan.
After being linked with managers that are currently in jobs, it seems like the plan now is to go for ones currently out of work.
All their preferred targets have turned down the opportunity to move to Elland Road and this is not a good look especially when Southampton are now closing in on appointing a new manager even though they sacked Nathan Jones after Leeds got rid of Marsch.
