Chris Kamara shares what he told his grandson as he is invited to Leeds United clash v Brentford

Chris Kamara has shared on Twitter that he has been invited to go to Elland Road on Sunday for Leeds United versus Brentford in the Premier League.

The former Leeds player is taking his five-year-old grandson to the ground for the first time to a match.

Kamara has told his grandson that they will take the pitch to thank the fans, while the young kid wants to have a kick at the ball prior to the game.

“Been invited to Elland Road on Sunday by Leeds United for Leeds against Brentford. Taking my grandson, Sol, who is five years, for the very first time to a match. I told him we are going on the pitch to thank the fans for their support and he wants to take his boots to have a kick around,” the Sky Sports legend tweeted.

Big game

This is a big game for Leeds, and the Whites have to get a positive result.

The performance in recent weeks has been encouraging but they haven’t picked up a win in the Premier League after the World Cup.

Leeds, however, got their first win post the international break in midweek when they defeated Cardiff City 5-2 at Elland Road in the FA Cup.

They have to carry forward the confidence now in the Premier League and get a win to boost their confidence.

Willy Gnonto has been outstanding in recent weeks, and he is proving to be a great signing for the club already.

Jack Harrison and Rodrigo have been equally brilliant, while Marsch will be very pleased to see Patrick Bamford back among goals for the club.

The only major worry remains with the defence, and it seems there is no quick fix.

Leeds play high-octane football, but they need to be solid at the back. At the moment, they concede silly goals, and need to cut down on individual errors.
