Charles De Ketelaere answer set for today as Leeds United push for major new transfer

Leeds United could get their answer today in the race to sign Club Brugges star Charles De Ketelaere, according to La Gazzetta Dello Sport.

The Italian newspaper has reported in its print edition [12 July, pg. 2] that AC Milan will know definitely by the end of the week if they will be signing the Belgian superstar.

Furthermore, it was added that a forecast of today [Tuesday] has been optimistically set for an answer with the blockbuster saga quickly coming to an end.

So, the definite answer will be in the next five days.

But, there is optimism that is starting today that the end is finally in sight for both AC Milan and Leeds in the race to persuade De Ketelaere through the door.

The Whites have said to have made a much higher offer than the Serie A champions, and that could have a major hand in the decision of Club Brugges, who will want to bring in the most money.

Here We Go.

It is now business time in this deal, and this week looks like it will bring all of the answers.

We know that AC Milan are likely favourites for this one, but with Leeds offering much more money, there could be plenty more twists and turns along the way.

Club Brugge will want as much money as is available, forget about what the striker wants, and they could refuse to deal with the Italian side if Leeds are going to blow them out of the water.

Andrea Radrizzani will know that he is in a position to offer more money, and with Raphinha set to seal his exit from Elland Road sooner rather than later, the war chest is there.

With a decision this week, we will know if we need to move on or go all in, and that will bring clarity.

De Ketelaere is clearly the main target at Elland Road, and we have to pray with all of our hearts that we can somehow get a deal over the line.

If anyone can, it will be Victor Orta.
