CBS journalist loses it at Jack Harrison after what he did during Leeds United 1-0 defeat v Chelsea
CBS journalist Jake Winderman ripped into Jack Harrison on social media during Leeds United’s 1-0 loss to Chelsea, begging for him to be substituted.
The Whites fell to a second consecutive defeat in all competitions since Javi Gracia’s appointment as manager, leaving them just one place above the relegation zone but level on points with Everton in the bottom three.
But despite the result the performance wasn’t horrendous and Leeds had chances. One of those was wasted by Harrison in the second half, and Winderman took to his personal Twitter account (4 March) to vent his frustration at the former New York City FC winger.
“Please get Harrison off the pitch,” he said. “Just ruined what looked like one of the best opportunities of the day.
“Can’t be wasteful with a Bamford-like first touch.”
Must improve
Leeds have had some decent showings this season, and there is clearly plenty of potential within the squad to become an established Premier League team.
But that can only happen if everything is ticking, and right now it isn’t, because results are incredibly difficult to come by.
Patrick Bamford, Georginio Rutter, Brenden Aaronson and Jack Harrison simply aren’t doing enough in front of goal right now, and the fitness of Luis Sinisterra has been a big issue all season too.

Without scoring goals points won’t accumulate to save us, and it’s a big issue that Gracia must address and figure out. But to do that he needs the players to start performing more, and that is especially true of Harrison.
Considering he was set to leave in January and is now reportedly on the verge of a new deal, you’d think he has something to prove to get his spot back in the team. He better start showing it with his performances on the pitch.
As it stands, it’s hard to tell how much he really wants to be here.
