Cameron Toshack spotted ahead of imminent Leeds United move
Welsh coach Cameron Toshack has been spotted at Thorp Arch ahead of his reported move to join Leeds United.
According to Wales Online, the former Swansea City youth coach is set to join Leeds as Jesse Marsch’s assistant.
On Monday, the American was officially announced as the man to succeed Marcelo Bielsa and footage emerged of him meeting the players.
In that video, Toshack was also spotted, which suggests that he’s already at the club and it is only subject to an official announcement.
New era
This is a new era at Elland Road and we did not expect it to begin this soon.
There was a feeling that this was going to be Bielsa’s last season at the club but we expected him to leave on his terms.
It would’ve been special if the Elland Road crowd could wave him goodbye for one final time, rather than have his future decided after a game.
If the Marsch appointment does not go as planned, fans are certainly going to be fuming as Bielsa was an icon amongst the Leeds fanbase.

He did the impossible job of getting the club back to the Premier League and then kept them there after a phenomenal first season up.
With no experience in the English game, Marsch will certainly have to count on Toshack and whoever else he decides to bring into his backroom staff.
He already will be having certain coaches from Bielsa’s time at the club so that could be a welcome boost.
