Calvert-Lewin could do something for first time since 2020 when Leeds face Bournemouth
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is likely to lead the line for Leeds again when they host Bournemouth.
Off the back of an impressive 3-1 victory against Wolves, Leeds return to Elland Road to face Bournemouth this weekend.
Saturday’s encounter with Wolves saw the Whites pick up their first away win of the season, and also saw Calvert-Lewin score his first goal for Leeds since joining for free from Everton.
With the 28-year-old likely to start again for the Whites against the Cherries, he could do something for the first time in over five years.

Leeds need to keep Calvert-Lewin scoring goals
Leeds need to keep Calvert-Lewin fit for a start, and if they can achieve that, they need to ensure that he gets regular service in games for him to thrive.
While he may have only scored once against Wolves, his all-round play was superb, and he played a massive role in the win.
However, the last time the Englishman scored in consecutive games was for Everton in 2020, when he netted in a 1-0 win over Tottenham, before going on to score a hat-trick against West Brom just six days later.
- 24/25 – 26 games, 3 goals, 1 assist
- 23/24 – 38 games, 8 goals, 3 assists
- 22/23 – 18 games, 2 goals, 1 assist
For a striker, going on a goalscoring run can be crucial for confidence, and with so much pressure on Calvert-Lewin to deliver at Leeds, he certainly needs it.
However, with Bournemouth sitting fourth in the Premier League, and having dropped points on just two occasions, it may prove to be tricky for Calvert-Lewin to replicate that run.

Calvert-Lewin will need service vs Bournemouth
Dan James and Willy Gnonto could return for Leeds when they face Boiurnemouth, and if so, it will be a huge boost.
Not just for the team, but also for Calvert-Lewin, who will thrive with better attacking players providing balls up to him.
Against Wolves, his hold-up play was excellent, and having the likes of Gnonto behind him to pick up the pieces will be crucial to getting a result.
However, it remains unknown if they will be fit, with Daniel Farke expected to clarify their availability in his press conference on Thursday.
