Burnley star Jack Cork makes Leeds United relegation prediction
Burnley defender Jack Cork believes Leeds United will pick up points and improve their form heading into the climax of the Premier League relegation battle.
Leeds’ fate is currently out of their own hands with Everton’s victory over Chelsea.
Jesse Marsch’s side face Arsenal and Chelsea in their next two fixtures, yet, Cork believes they will still turn their form around in their relegation fight.
As quoted by the Burnley Express, Cork said: “Leeds behind us now, they’re not going to give up.
“They will pick up points so we’ve got to be right on it in the last few games.”
He added: “It’s not a comfortable cushion, it’s going to go right to the end, there’ll be a lot more ups and downs I think.”
A lot to play for
Burnley have picked up since the departure of Sean Dyche, however, their fixtures have been extremely favourable compared to Leeds and Everton.
Despite playing two of the top-six in their next two fixtures, it would be foolish to rule out Leeds United picking up no points.
Burnley still face a trip to Tottenham, and Everton make the journey to the Emirates on the final day of the season.
Burnley’s celebrations after their late victory at Watford on Saturday seemed slightly over the top.

It was a smash and grab victory at a side staring relegation in the face.
There are still 12 points for the Lancashire side to fight for and with Everton’s recent form, their survival is anything but a certainty.
Burnley host Aston Villa, who are coming off a home victory against Norwich.
If they haven’t refocussed after their Watford jubilation, then Leeds and Everton could drag them back into the relegation fray.
