They will now face off against the Netherlands and Adams has been one of the standout players for them thus far.
Speaking on the FIFA world feed, Ward, a BT Sport pundit, said (29/11, 20:58), “Talk about the work rate of Tyler Adams, in this game, in fact, all games. He’s been exceptional.”

He’s joined Leeds with big shoes to fill and has delivered for his club side and then gone on to star for his national side on the biggest stage of them all.
Jesse Marsch brought him to Elland Road for a reason and thus far, his decision to back the United States man has proven to be vindicated.
We cannot wait to see how far Adams, Brenden Aaronson and this entire American side can go as they’ve got decent players who play good football.
The Netherlands aren’t going to be easy but they cannot take the US challenge for granted and will watch the England performance for lessons.
As fans, we’re going to be spoilt for the next couple of weeks as we’re treated to some incredible football from different countries in the world.
