BT Sport pundit labels Leeds United attacker Joe Gelhardt ‘nightmare’
Steve Sidwell has labelled Leeds United attacker Joe Gelhardt a nightmare for his performances off the bench.
He also backs Joffy to have a good future as he sees plenty of potential in him at a young age.
The 20-year-old hasn’t been a regular starter this season, but has enjoyed cameos off the bench on a number of occasions.

Speaking on Premier League Productions, Sidwell, a BT Sport pundit, said, “If they’re not winning, he can come on as defenders’ worst nightmare off the bench. I think he’ll have an incredible future.”
Start him often
Players have taken first-team responsibilities at Gelhardt’s age in the past.
There’s no reason to think that he’s too young as he’s shown fight and determination against top teams as well.
Dan James has struggled as a number nine while Rodrigo has also failed to make that spot his own in Patrick Bamford’s absence.
Starting Gelhardt will give Leeds that freshness they so desperately need in the final third.

It remains to be seen if Jesse Marsch will give the youngster two or three games in a row to start and prove his worth.
Unlike James, Gelhardt can guarantee you goals and his movement is akin to what a central striker should be doing.
The Welshman is clearly a wide player and he’s being wasted playing in a central role and should just stick to doing what he’s best at.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites could look to sign a ‘Phenomenal’ attacking midfielder this summer as he’s already bid farewell to fans of his club.
