Brenden Aaronson has jetted out to the USA to play golf ahead of the Premier League restart
Brenden Aaronson is currently in his home town of Medford in the United States with his Leeds United teammates currently on a midseason tour in Spain.
Aaronson has been granted some extra time off ahead of the Premier League returning due to his participation for the USMNT at the World Cup in Qatar.
The 22-year-old has since posted an Instagram story (6 December) of him playing golf at the Medford Village Country Club in New Jersey.

Aaronson will be returning to Yorkshire in the coming days as Jesse Marsch ramps up preparation ahead of his side hosting Manchester City on 28 December.
Hit the ground running
It’s no surprise to see Aaronson given extended time off after representing his country in Qatar. Leeds’ players who weren’t present at the World Cup were all given time off and Marsch himself even attended a wedding in Peru. It’s normal practice and it’s good to see the American having some downtime ahead of what will be a hectic new year.
The Premier League schedule is known to be unforgiving and considering the way Marsch likes to play, there’s no doubt that the 22-year-old will be put through his paces upon his return. He can feel hard done by considering the way he was treated in Qatar.

Gregg Berhalter opted not to start the attacking midfielder in any of the United States fixtures and considering they averaged under a goal a game and crashed out in the round of 16, there’s an argument to suggest it backfired.
Let’s hope Aaronson continues his impressive Premier League form when Leeds return at the end of the month.
In other Leeds United news, a “talented” Elland Road player is now assumed to be heading to one of two English clubs in January.
