Bologna hope to strike agreement for Leeds United target Calvin Ramsay

Bologna are reportedly hoping to strike an agreement for Leeds United target and Aberdeen defender Calvin Ramsay.

According to Italian media outlet TMW Bologna Web, the Serie A side still hope to reach an agreement for the 18-year-old.

Leeds and Liverpool are understood to be the competition they face and it’s going to be difficult for them to sign the player ahead of the Premier League duo.

Elland Road bound?

Leeds are in the market for a right-back this summer and that is a well-documented fact.

Ramsay will be a player who would undoubtedly be an upgrade on Luke Ayling, but whether or not they can sign him, remains a big question mark.

Liverpool are also looking for a backup to Trent Alexander-Arnold and can tempt him with higher wages.

However, if playing time is what he demands then it makes a world of sense to move to Elland Road.

Jesse Marsch can promise him regular game time and also build a youthful squad for the coming few years.

It remains to be seen how this transpires as the 18-year-old would be a very good fit at Leeds United.

He’s very good in the final third and has a delivery that can scare even the best of defenders on his day.

We’re keeping our fingers crossed for this one but at the same time not getting our hopes too high.

In Leeds United news, an under-the-radar court case involving the transfer of a Leeds player has reached its conclusion with the final payout revealed.
