As Brereton Diaz is entering the final year of his contract at Ewood Park, there is a good chance he will be allowed to leave for a reasonable fee.

He has been in good form this season, particularly in the first half of the campaign and has also earned international recognition with Chile.

At 23, the former Nottingham Forest youngster still has plenty of time to develop and become a prolific Premier League striker.

With Patrick Bamford turning 29 at the start of the season, a new and younger striker should certainly be on the radar of Marsch this summer.

Diaz is a hard-working individual that would certainly be a hit amongst the Elland Road faithful.

He is at a point in his career where he needs to find his level and having a shot at the Premier League whilst coming into his prime would be a good move.

Time for Victor Orta and Marsch to take a risk and sign the 23-year-old.

In other Leeds United news, Premier League rivals are looking to take advantage of the situation and flex their much larger financial muscles.
