Blackburn manager Jon Dahl Tomasson to miss Leeds United clash as development emerges on Wednesday
Blackburn Rovers manager Jon Dahl Tomasson is set to miss the game against Leeds United on Saturday (9 December) after a development has emerged.
A post on the FA Spokesperson Twitter page on Wednesday (6 December) revealed that the Rovers boss has been handed a one-match touchline ban and a £2,000 fine for misconduct during his side’s match against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday (2 December).
After admitting that he acted in an improper manner in the 3-1 defeat against the Owls, the Dane will now miss the Whites’ visit to Ewood Park.
Bonus
Although it won’t be a loss for Blackburn on the pitch, not having their manager on the sidlines can have a negative impact on some teams.
Tomasson is quite an animated coach, who is often seen barking out instructions to his players, so it will be interesting to see how that does affect his side.
It could potentially be a bonus for Leeds as it will make matters such as substitutions more difficult for Rovers, depending on whether the Dane decides to keep in touch with his coaching staff or leaves them to take charge.

Daniel Farke probably won’t be paying too much attention to the situation, though, as he will just be looking for his players to do their job on the pitch.
It won’t be an easy game as the Lancashire side are often flirting around the Championship playoffs, meaning the Whites will need to be at their best to come away with the three points.
In other Leeds United news, a journalist doesn’t believe it’s fair what’s been said about Joel Piroe.
