'Big news', 'Brilliant' – These Leeds fans thrilled by BBC journo update for cup clash v Crawley

Many Leeds United fans were delighted to learn that both Liam Cooper and Diego Llorente have been passed fit to face Crawley Town in the FA Cup.

Adam Pope of the BBC has confirmed that both players could feature against the League Two side, but added that the club are being cautious with Llorente.

The Whites have not seen anything of the Spaniard since the 3-1 defeat away to Chelsea back in early December.

Since arriving from Real Sociedad in the summer in an £18million deal, much has been expected of Llorente at Leeds.

However, things simply have not gone to plan for the defender, with injuries piling up at the back for the club.

The return of both Cooper and Llorente eases some of the fear surrounding Leeds’ options at the back, with Luke Ayling filling in as a makeshift central defender in recent weeks.
