Bielsa wants 14-goal Ch’ship ace to ‘lead return’ to PL, Leeds set to blow rivals away – report
Leeds United want to sign exciting QPR playmaker Eberechi Eze and a report claims that Bielsa wants him to “lead their return” to the top flight.
Bielsa sees him as the “creative spark” that his side needs and the report claims that Leeds are willing to pay more than Spurs, West Ham and Crystal Palace for him.
The Sun claims that the plot to sign Eze was hatched in January when Leeds told the London-based club that they would submit a bid for him when promoted.
That happened this week while QPR finished in mid-table with a draw against West Brom.
QPR are resigned to seeing their star man go but are hoping the interest in him will keep his price up.
And the Sun claim that Bielsa has made it clear to Radrizzani that Eze is the man he wants.
Eze? Yes please!
It’s been said that Leeds are going to focus on the very best of the Championship as they look to strengthen ahead of their Premier League return.
And we can’t think of many better in the second tier than Eze. He’s been an absolute standout player for QPR and he’s almost nailed on to leave with one year left on his contract and QPR mired in the Championship.
The 22-year-old has scored an incredible 14 goals and added eight assists in the Championship this season for a mid-table side.
He’s the highest-rated QPR player with an impressive average rating of 7.36 for the 19/20 season.
Big teams in the Premier League want him but it’s fair to say that Leeds are a big team in the Premier League themselves now. Drink those words in.
Eze can play on the left but it’s as an attacking midfielder through the middle that he does the most damage and that’s exactly where Leeds need to strengthen.
We’re excited about this one and really hope it comes off.
