Bernd Leno thrilled by Leeds United star Patrick Bamford

Arsenal keeper Bernd Leno has been left thrilled by Leeds United forward Patrick Bamford in the Premier League over the past season.

The German international clearly didn’t expect the striker to have the impact that he has had at Elland Road and acted shocked when making the compliment.

All of those that play Fantasy Football will know that Bamford has been the cheap option to have this year, and Stuart Dallas has made that a deadly combination.

Speaking in an interview with Fantasy Premier League, Leno singled out Bamford as the striker that caught his eye the most.

“I have to say, Patrick Bamford,” he said.

“It’s amazing to see how many goals he’s scored for a team like Leeds. He was amazing, coming from the Championship, and I think he has a big influence for Leeds United.”

Undroppable.

If you didn’t have Bamford in your Fantasy team consistently over the past season, you have missed out massively.

Only Harry Kane did better in terms of forwards, and who would have expected that at the start of the campaign?

So many pundits and players were questioning whether Bamford was good enough to succeed at this level, and his 17 goals and seven assists have proved them wrong.

The mission is to now replicate that over numerous seasons, we know Marcelo Bielsa will stick with him, so it is all down to him.

We believe Bamford has what it takes, one thing for certain, no one will be underestimating the striker anymore, after an incredible season.
