Beren Cross shares insight into Stuart Dallas injury situation, Leeds United options
The injury to Stuart Dallas did not prevent him walking unaided following the Leeds United loss to Everton, according to Beren Cross.
The utility man has been filling in at left back in the absence of Junior Firpo, who the journalists expects to be back for the Manchester United game on Sunday.
The Northern Irishman has not missed a league start since United returned to the Premier League and would be a big miss if he is forced to miss significant time like so many others.

But there are options for the left back spot at the weekend if he is unable to feature.
Assessing the seriousness of the injury on his Leeds Live Q&A, Cross wrote: “It has to have a degree of severity to have forced someone like Dallas off, but it was not so serious he could not walk away from Goodison Park without assistance after full-time.
“Firpo is expected to be fit for this Sunday if he’s needed to start, but don’t be surprised to see [Pascal] Struijk move out there, [Robin] Koch shuffle back and [Adam] Forshaw come back into the side as a [defensive midfielder].”
Last man standing
It would be no surprise at all this season if the man who fills the gaps when other players get injured was ruled out himself.
It has been one of those years at Elland Road but it hasn’t made it any more frustrating when another player goes down.
Marcelo Bielsa did not have news following the miserable defeat on Merseyside but it is a positive sign at least that there were no crutches or walking boots involved.

And while that does not mean the 30-year-old will be available it is a slight consolation if he is not that the man he was covering for should be.
Whoever is available it will be vital for Bielsa to choose the right formation and use players in the right position, having seen the home side run riot in the visit to Goodison, admitting afterwards he had made an “error” in where he played Mateusz Klich (Leeds Live).
In other Leeds United news, another Premier League club has reportedly entered the chase for Kalvin Phillips.
