Beren Cross makes big transfer claim after Leeds win v Fulham

Beren Cross has claimed that Leeds United will be accelerating their transfer plans after the 2-1 victory against Fulham on Friday evening.

The reliable journalist shared talks between Victor Orta and Angus Kinnear at Craven Cottage, as the Whites plan for another season in the Premier League.

The Whites had two plans for this upcoming market, one in case of relegation and the other to push towards European football after survival this season.

Writing for Leeds Live on Saturday morning, Cross claimed that the Whites will be making moves for their summer targets already.

“The chatter between Orta and Angus Kinnear after the match last night would have been especially excitable with a real sense they can open the envelope marked survival with 39 points on the board,” he said.

“All those transfer targets and off-the-field plans contingent on Premier League status can be pushed forward. Calls can be made and the next chapter can be prepared for.”

Andrea Radrizzani has made it no secret that he wants the Whites back in European football as soon as possible, and for that to happen, he has to put his money where his mouth is.

Phil Hay has shared that Leeds want five fresh faces at Elland Road, and there will be a mission to bring in similar quality to the likes of Raphinha.

Midfield is a clear area that needs strengthening, with possibly two faces rather than just one. On top of that, competition for Patrick Bamford could be critical.

Marcelo Bielsa will be another vital signing ahead of the new season, and if Radrizzani can piece all of this together with the help of Orta, who knows where Leeds can end up?
