Beren Cross: Leeds hope for Kalvin Phillips & Raphinha return v Wolves
Leeds United are hopeful of having both Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips available for the Premier League clash with Wolves on Saturday.
Beren Cross has shared that only “extreme” circumstances kept both out of the defeat at Southampton, and will be looking to avoid those this time around.
The influential duo have both been pictured in training at Thorp Arch this week, and Cross believes the Whites will quickly move on from the saga.

Writing in the latest Leeds Live Q&A, Cross responded to concerns regarding the fitness of the squad.
“There have always been injuries and always been question marks around the strain on the small squad Bielsa runs with at Leeds, but they’ve generally got through,” he wrote.
“Saturday was an extreme example because the club’s two best players were missing. The hope is Phillips and Raphinha return on Saturday and we quickly move on from this narrative around an injury crisis.”

Everything crossed.
There is no arguing that the defeat and performance against Southampton may have been the worst we have ever seen under Marcelo Bielsa.
Should the players be available, El Loco won’t hesitate to make big changes for likely the first time in his three year stint at the club.
Phillips and Raphinha are easily our two most important players, and having them available could turn us from underdogs to favourites.
The midfield was as weak as we have seen at St Mary’s, and the attack couldn’t have been more blunt if we tried.
Both should be available, and we already can’t wait for Saturday with that second win of the season desperately needed.
