BBC pundit ‘nervous’ as he shares image from inside Elland Road ahead of Leeds United v Nottingham Forest
BBC pundit Noel Whelan admitted he is “nervous” for Leeds United ahead of their crucial Premier League fixture with Nottingham Forest at Elland Road on Tuesday night [4 April].
Two teams battling to avoid relegation from the Premier League will lock horns for a vital encounter and the Whites will be aiming to bounce back from their 4-1 mauling of league leaders Arsenal on Saturday [1 April].
And sharing an image of Elland Road on his personal Twitter account [4 April] ahead of Tuesday’s pivotal relegation six-pointer, Whelan expressed his nerves and excitement.
He tweeted: “OMG!
“How good is that looking for a must-win match tonight? Excited and nervous ….but we got this Leeds United fans MOT loud and proud.”
Crucial
Javi Gracia and his men will be looking to bounce back from Saturday’s defeat to Arsenal and there is no better place to do that than against their relegation rivals Nottingham Forest on their own turf.
Leeds United fans are certainly nervous but also expectant as Whelan certainly will be ahead of what will be a hugely important encounter with their Premier League status on the line.

The Whites were never expected to claim a result against Arsenal but this is one they should be winning at a stadium which will be nerve-wracking and uncomfortable for any opponent.
The atmosphere will be incredibly pumped and raucous for which the players must match if they are to claim a result. A win for Leeds United will take them above their opponents and out of the drop zone ahead of another crucial game against Crystal Palace on Saturday [9 April]. Huge.
