Tough one

Keeping hold of a player wanted by Barcelona is going to be difficult, especially if Leeds fall into the second tier.

With two games left, they’re in the relegation zone and realistic contenders to go down and finish in the bottom three.

That could see the 19-year-old consider his options and if he has a good World Cup, there’s no denying that he will be on Barcelona’s radar.

If Leeds get relegated, the Catalan side may feel that the iron is hot to strike and could look to sign him for a relative pittance.

Barca have a good track record of promoting youth and Xavi is a coach who gives chances to players impressing for the junior teams.

It remains to be seen if Joseph, a player who made his Leeds debut just this season, will remain at Elland Road post a crucial summer transfer window.
