Barcelona make concrete enquiry to sign Leeds United attacker Raphinha
Barcelona have reportedly made a concrete enquiry to land Leeds United attacker Raphinha in the summer.
According to UOL, the La Liga giants, along with Bayern Munich and Liverpool have tested the waters with an initial survey of the situation.
The report does not say if Leeds have responded thus far, but the Brazilian does want his release clause amended.
Barcelona recently thrashed Real Madrid 4-0 in El Clasico and appear to be a team on the rise.
They’ve signed some impressive players recently and are back to their best under new manager Xavi.
If Raphinha is to cement his name as one of the best attackers in the world, Camp Nou is the perfect place to hone his skills.
The same can be said about Bayern Munich and Liverpool – two behemoths of the European game.
The Brazilian is getting called up to the national team while he’s at Elland Road but he may be wanting more from his career.
He could have Champions League aspirations that he will unfortunately not be able to realise at Leeds.
While it is a bitter pill to swallow, Leeds fans know that he could be on his way out in the summer given the growing interest in his services.
They would like him to stay for at least another season but that seems unlikely as things stand currently.
