Leeds United forward Tyler Roberts started Wales' final preparation clash for the EUROs on Saturday against Albania.

The Welsh drew 0-0 at the Cardiff City Stadium, with the Whites playmaker last more than an hour before being replaced by Gareth Bale.

Roberts appeared to catch the eye for his country, as they get ready to take on Switzerland in their major tournament opener on Saturday.

Roberts took to his personal Instagram account on Sunday, sending a message to the fans of his country as they look to replicate their efforts of the last EUROs.

Sky Sports pundit and former Welsh star Ashley Williams was spotted in the comments, and he was clearly thrilled by the Leeds star in the goalless draw.

"Well played yesterday fam," he said.

Shining.

This could be a huge summer for Roberts, as well as Wales.

With our near neighbours looking to replicate that incredible display at EURO 2016 where they reached the semi-finals, the Leeds ace could be set for a huge role.

Marcelo Bielsa has trusted him massively over the likes of Rodrigo this season, and despite having time off, El Loco will be watching his players closely at the major tournament.

Roberts has recently revealed that his agent is in contract talks, and a big performance this summer will all but make it impossible for the Whites not to secure his future.

The attacker has always shown massive promise, but rarely has that end product, something that his goal against Southampton could change moving forward.

He is clearly highly rated by his country, and we expect a huge summer for Roberts, we'll be cheering him on, unless he comes up against Kalvin Phillips, that is.
