Archie Gray wowed by star Leeds have been told to sign by Struijk

Leeds United secured their promotion to the Premier League as champions after a 2-1 victory against Plymouth Argyle on Saturday.

Willy Gnonto’s second-half goal ruled out Sam Byram’s own goal from the first half, but the Whites needed all three points to come out on top.

It took until the 91st minute, but a Manor Solomon winner proved to be what the West Yorkshire outfit needed to secure their title win.

Daniel Farke deserves plenty of credit at Leeds United this season, given the squad he has put together has performed excellently.

Although Leeds’ form took a dip ahead of the final run-in, the boss showed what he was made of by making big decisions to fix the form.

There are doubts around Farke’s future as manager at Elland Road, but should he remain in place, the boss will have to show what he’s made of once more by adding the right faces to his team for next season.

One man who Leeds will no doubt be keen on is Manor Solomon, who has had a successful loan spell in West Yorkshire from Tottenham.

It seems as though Leeds’ squad members are advocating for Solomon’s permanent addition, too, after their comments.

The loanee took to Instagram to share a picture of him scoring, accompanied by the caption: “Champions.”

Pascal Struik commented on the post, stating: “Sign him up.” Meanwhile, Archie Gray added a love heart eye emoji as his reaction.

Leeds to get Solomon permanently

Solomon has been a core part of the success at Leeds this season and with that in mind, it’s no wonder that Farke wants him on a permanent basis.

Solomon has done well for Leeds this season.

The good news for the Whites is that their promotion to the top flight puts them in a good place in the race for his signature, as they are not asking him to turn down an opportunity to play higher up the pyramid.

It’s not yet known what Leeds will be expected to cough up to take the 25-year-old on a permanent basis, but it has been reported that Spurs may be willing to strike a cut-price deal for the move to go through.

It’s clear how valued Solomon is in his current side, which will surely make him feel comfortable about the idea of making a move back to West Yorkshire and carrying on the work he has already helped start.
