Archie Gray tipped to make Daniel Farke Leeds United ‘dreams come true’ after Bristol City clash
Leeds United ace Archie Gray may make Daniel Farke’s tactical dreams come true, according to Leeds Live journalist Beren Cross.
The 17-year-old midfielder was played at right-back by his manager in the Championship meeting with Bristol City on Saturday (17 October).
The teenager played the entire match at Elland Road, with the Whites winning the match 2-1 thanks to goals from Daniel James and Joel Piroe.

“Ideas are one thing, but execution is another and Daniel Farke may just have the player to make his tactical Leeds United dreams come true,” Cross wrote for Leeds Live.
“Archie Gray continues to turn heads for all of the right reasons this season and reached new heights on Saturday. The 17-year-old was played at right-back in one of the few starting line-up shocks of the season from Farke.”

Young star
Leeds fans have been delighted with the performances of their team in recent weeks, with the Whites now fifth in the league table.
They may have been forgiven for thinking that the versatile players in the squad would end with Ethan Ampadu and Jamie Shackleton, but now Gray has stepped forward with an impressive display out of position against the Robins.
Of course there are other members of Farke’s outfit that are undoubtedly more than capable of playing in various roles, but those three have really been given the opportunity to showcase their versatility under the German.
It is a really positive characteristic to have for a player, particularly when they play for a team that will see fixtures coming thick and fast, with injuries set to be expected given the quick turnaround in the Championship.
So far, however, midfield stars Gray and Ampadu have remained fit, and the pair will be key for Farke in the coming months, wherever it is they are chosen to play.
In other Leeds United news, an international manager has shared a “positive” update on one Whites ace amid a “hugely frustrating” injury.
