Archie Gray sends message to Brenden Aaronson after what Leeds United star did
Archie Gray reacted to Brenden Aaronson on social media after Leeds United beat Plymouth 3-0 on Saturday.
Aaronson took to Instagram to express his delight after scoring in the Championship win against Plymouth at Elland Road on 2 November.
Gray was among those who commented on the post, reacting with a face with heart eyes emoji. Junior Firpo, meanwhile, dubbed the 24-year-old “Brendinho”.
Archie Gray may have left Leeds United early as Brenden Aaronson shines
Seeing Gray stay in touch with his former Leeds teammates makes one wonder if he wishes he was still at Elland Road.
The 18-year-old jumped ship to Tottenham in the summer to realise his Premier League dream but has been restricted to just 41 minutes of action in North London.
It now appears the Durham-born midfielder could head out on loan in January, with Spurs anticipating offers for him (GiveMeSport). Victor Orta is plotting a move to take the teenager to Sevilla (Mucho Deportes).
Therefore, it would not be a stretch to say Gray may have left the Whites too early as he would have been a key figure in the club’s promotion push this term.

Daniel Farke would perhaps not have been forced to bring in Josuha Guilavogui as an emergency signing to provide cover in midfield had Gray still been at the club.
However, as much as it is easy to think about such scenarios in hindsight, the truth is that Gray is no longer an option in West Yorkshire.
In other Leeds United news, this Whites gem has earned praise for what he did away from Elland Road at the weekend.
