Ao Tanaka puts Leeds United teammate in headlock in unseen moment vs Brentford
Leeds United left the Gtech Community Stadium in good spirits after scoring a late equaliser to draw 1-1 with Brentford.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin notched his fourth goal in four games, rising highest to power home a header just eight minutes from time.
Jordan Henderson had given Brentford the lead, latching onto a loose ball in the box to smash the hosts in front midway through the second half.
However, Calvert-Lewin ensured that Daniel Farke’s side extended their unbeaten run to three games and moved three points clear of the Premier League relegation zone.
Ao Tanaka mobs Willy Gnonto after Brentford draw
Willy Gnonto has been left on the bench by Farke for the last few Leeds games, after the Whites switched to a 5-3-2 formation.
Gnonto came on for Jaka Bijol immediately after Brentford took the lead on Sunday afternoon, as the visitors searched for a way back into the contest.
Just nine minutes after his introduction, the Italian winger whipped a delightful cross into the box and Calvert-Lewin made no mistake with the finish.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post in an ‘unseen moments’ article, after the full-time whistle, Leeds midfielder Ao Tanaka put Gnonto in a light-hearted headlock to congratulate him for the assist.
The rest of the squad were clearly grateful that the 22-year-old had helped rescue a point for the visitors.

Daniel Farke has big decision to make with Willy Gnonto
Gnonto has made a big impact as a substitute for Leeds in each of their last two games.
Against Liverpool, the winger won the penalty that sparked the Whites’ dramatic comeback from 2-2 down, driving into the box and drawing the foul from Ibrahima Konate.
Gnonto then grabbed the assist against Brentford on Sunday, and Farke now has a decision to make regarding his place in the starting lineup.
Noah Okafor has performed well alongside Calvert-Lewin since coming into the side, but there is an argument that Gnonto brings more to the team.
Farke must weigh up whether the Italian is more useful off the bench or if he can still have a similar impact on proceedings from the start.
