Anton Stach hails fellow Leeds midfielders

Stach has been part of a brilliant midfield alongside Ethan Ampadu and Sean Longstaff, both of whom have been brilliant in their own right.

The German has revealed how much he is enjoying his time at Elland Road so far and how highly he rates the Leeds squad.

Speaking to BBC Sport, Stach said: “We have five or six players that are really good, nearly all on the same level. I think that’s really important, in training we really push each other.

Stach was also massively complimentary of the Leeds midfield he is part of, showering it with unbelievable praise.

The mentality is a big argument for everybody because we all fight for every ball and try to be focused on every duel. I would say it’s the best midfield I have played with so far,” he added.

Leeds fans will be delighted to hear these quotes, as it shows how united the squad are and how much they trust each other.

Leeds’ midfield can help power them to Premier League survival

Stach’s complimentary words toward his fellow midfielders is brilliant news for Daniel Farke, who needs those types of characters in his squad.

Sean Longstaff grabbed his first goal for Leeds against Bournemouth and already looks like a bargain for £12million.

Ampadu continues to be a leader for Leeds, and his abilities complement Stach and Longstaff brilliantly.

The variety of footballers Leeds have in the middle of the park is key, and if they continue to push each other, they will get the best out of one another.

The Premier League requires real physicality and technical ability in midfield, and Leeds will be confident that their new boys, alongside their skipper, can continue to deliver.
