Goals from Wilfried Gnonto, Jayden Bogle and Joel Piroe easily sealed the three points as Leeds rose to fifth in the Championship table.

Writing for the Yorkshire Evening Post, Smyth shared what he spotted: “CEO Angus Kinnear deep in conversation with billionaire heir Pete Lowy in the directors’ box during the warm-up.”

Lowy became a director at Elland Road back in 2021 with the 49ers Enterprises now owning the club, with his influence becoming clearer.

Lowy and Kinnear will be working closely together consistently, and it is great to have two figures so influential and involved on what looks like a daily basis.

With another win on the pitch against Coventry, things are really starting to look up ahead of two huge away games at Norwich and Sunderland this week.
