Angus Kinnear and Paraag Marathe key as Leeds United close in on new manager – Sky Sports
Leeds United are closing in on their new manager as they enter the final stages today, according to Sky Sports.
It has been reported that Angus Kinnear and Paraag Marathe have been key figures in the process, which has eventually been described as positive.
The Whites have concluded interviews with their final shortlist, which includes Patrick Vieira and Daniel Farke ahead of the new Championship season.

Writing on their live blog today [24 June, 14:51], Sky Sports shared their latest update: “Leeds’ search for a new manager is now close to a conclusion.
“Leeds conducted face-to-face interviews this week from the final shortlist, which includes Patrick Vieira and Daniel Farke.
“Vice chairman Paraag Marathe and CEO Angus Kinnear have been key figures in the process, which has been described as positive and is now close to completion.”

Announcement.
It looks as though this is pretty much done and dusted with the only thing left to do being the simple announcement part with fans growing restless.
The Daily Mail did report that Farke has now emerged as the leading candidate at Elland Road, with talks being opened over personal terms for the German.
That would make complete sense.
Leeds want someone who has been there and done it in their quest to get back to the Premier League, with Farke’s record from Norwich speaking for itself.
Vieira has not done that before, tasting relative success at Crystal Palace before it went pearshaped and he was sacked, meaning he may not be trusted.
The Championship is a different beast compared to the Premier League with its gruelling schedule, and the sooner we have someone in charge, the better, ahead of pre-season.
